Looking for a way to get involved on Earth Day?

Five River Metro Parks has many volunteering opportunities at various locations throughout Montgomery County, including parks and other natural areas! They will be tackling a variety of tasks, such as removing invasive species, maintaining habitats, gardening, mulching nature play areas, cleaning up historical farms, and more. By participating in these projects, we can improve the environment and enhance the beauty of the region’s natural areas.

Additionally, they are introducing a new way to help protect the natural heritage of the area. They will be providing a limited quantity of free Adopt-A-Park service kits, designed to engage community groups and youth in self-directed litter removal.
